Syria

I think that Obama should have sought military intervention much earlier when the rebels had a clear advantage over Assad's regime and before Al Qaeda had gotten involved. I guess it's better late than never. We can't just let Assad get away with gassing civilians. He crossed the line and I feel it would be appropriate to have a bit of military intervention. I think the President has done relatively well in securing bi partisan support for his proposed limited strike. By meeting with the Congressional leaders he has already gotten prominent Republicans, such as John Boehner, to back his call to arms. It is still a long shot though for it to pass in Congress because the majority of Americans seem to be against a military intervention and Congressmen in both parties have voiced their opposition.
